Terms Of Service

  • Right of admission reserved. Respect towards our staff and fellow patrons is expected and non-compliance may result in undesirable consequences.
  • For tables of 10 patrons or more, the minimum service fee will be automatically added to your bill at a rate of 10%.
  • All weights quoted are raw/unprocessed wights.
  • Some of our meals may be seasonal, subject to availability or may take longer to prepare.
  • At Mike’s Kitchen, we pride ourselves in authentic food and therefore we endeavor to limit the use of artificial additives or colourants.
  • Photographs are representational only. Our food is handcrafted and variations from images to product are inevitable.
  • Under no circumstances, will alcohol be served to persons under the age of 18. Proof of age may be requested at the time of order.
  • Mike’s Kitchen promotes responsible drinking, and we therefore reserve the right to limit consumption whilst on our premises.
  • Specials are not automatically available at all Mike’s Kitchen stores. Please check with management of the store whether the advertised promotion is available.
  • All products are subject to availability, or while stock last. Mike’s Kitchen reserves the right to provide alternative products of the same quality and/or quantity at the advertised price.
  • The onus is on the patron to advise management on any special dietary requirements, including allergies and/or religious dietary requirements.
  • All prices listed include VAT.
  • All restaurants are individually owned and operated, under the guidance of Mike’s Kitchen Franchising.
  • The patron agrees that neither Mike’s Kitchen Franchisee and Franchisor, or any of it’s employees, will be held responsible or liable for any negligent or innocent misrepresentations made to the patron, including loss of personal items whilst on our premises.
  • The franchisee, franchisor and its employees shall not be liable to any patrons for any accidents, damage, or injury of any nature whatsoever, occasioned or suffered by the patron whilst on these premises, whether or not such loss is as the result of any intentional, reckless or negligent act of omission on the part of the franchisee, franchisor or its employees.

For all national promotions:

  • Terms and conditions apply. These are set out in the promotional material for each offer, which may vary from our standard t’s & c’s.
  • All offers are subject to availability.
  • All offers are valid while stocks last.
  • All offers are available nationwide, unless stated otherwise (excluding Mike’s Kitchen Parktown).
  • Any substitutes on offers will be charged at an extra cost to the patron.
  • All offers are available for dine-in only.
  • The price advertised is inclusive of VAT.
  • The visuals are for descriptive purposes only and meals served could vary.
  • Background images serve as styling props only and are not included in the meal.
  • The meals advertised are not in proportion to one another.
  • Mike’s Kitchen promotes responsible eating & drinking.
  • All masses refer to the approximate uncooked mass.

For all voucher issued to loyalty members, winners or otherwise:

  • T’s & C’s apply.
  • No voucher may be redeemed for cash under any circumstances.
  • No change (in money or voucher form) will be given against a voucher.
  • Any unused balance on a voucher cannot be used on another day and will be forfeited.
  • A voucher’s value is redeemable against any item on the current Mike’s Kitchen Main Menu. (unless stated otherwise)
  • A voucher cannot be transferred to a friend or family.
  • A voucher does not include the gratuity of 10% and this is payable in cash.
  • Only one voucher may be redeemed per table.
  • A voucher is only valid for lunch and dinner. (unless stated otherwise)
  • A voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or specials.
  • A voucher is valid for the period as stipulated on each voucher.

For all vouchers or rewards issued by MaxiClub:

  • T’s & C’s apply.
  • Limited to 1 registration (sign-up) per person.
  • R150.00 sign-up voucher is only available 24-Hours after registration.
  • R150.00 sign-up voucher is only available September to October 2024.
  • Only one voucher may be redeemed per table.
  • R99.00 Birthday Voucher is only granted when visiting any Mike’s Kitchen Store, more than 4x per year (excluding Mike’s Kitchen Louis Trichardt and Mike’s Kitchen Parktown).
  • Earn 3% back in reward points, which will be available on your account within 3-4 days.
  • Rewards and/or Vouchers cannot be issued or granted if the customer does not give the OTP Pin or Loyalty Card to the waiter upon payment.
  • Reward points are available for 3 years.
  • No voucher may be redeemed for cash under any circumstances.
  • No change (in money or voucher form) will be given against a voucher.
  • A voucher can only be claimed if the bill amount is bigger than the voucher amount.

ALL children younger than 12 years will be overseen by a childminder; however, all children must be supervised by a responsible adult or parent at all times! Any participation of whatever nature shall be at your sole risk. Therefore, neither the owners of Mike’s Kitchen nor their directors, employees, and/or agents will be held responsible or liable for any loss, damages, injury, accident, death, or damage to property, nor for any actions, legal proceedings, or claims of whatever nature and howsoever caused.

Allergies

All food items are prepared in a kitchen where nuts, dairy products, wheat, gluten, egg and soy are used. Should you be allergic to any food items, please request information regarding the ingredients prior to ordering. Some food items have traces of nuts and sesame seeds. Certain products contain peanuts/nuts, wheat, gluten, soyand dairy products. Certain menu items are made from non-dairy cream. All visuals are suggested servings only. Not all items on this menu are available as take-away items.

Photography Usage

Mike’s Kitchen reserves the right to take photographs of stores and/or patrons visiting any of the branches. All patrons give their full consent for Mike’s Kitchen to do so and to use the said photographs for promotional purposes without prior written consent. Any such person also absolves Mike’s Kitchen from any liability arising out of any harm or damage caused by the unintended use of the said photograph by a third party.
